THE JOURNEY

French wine is not just a drink. It is a way of organising territory, defining regional identities, recording wars and peace treaties. Every grape variety, every appellation, every château carries centuries of human decisions. This expedition sets out from Paris, travels 2,400 km through the six most iconic regions of wine-producing France and returns to the capital — exploring how wine shaped the history, identity and place of France in the world.
